A Christ-centered approach to energy medicine through hands-on-healing
Awaken to the fullness of God's healing Spirit through the
power of Touch.
Divine Touch is a "hands-on" healing practice that integrates eastern energy medicine with the transforming energy of the Holy Spirit to help relax, heal, and restore your mind and body. You will experience the Holy Spirit as a warm, loving energy flowing into your body. It calms your nervous system, balances your energy system, and heightens your body awareness. It combines gentle touch, prayerful intention, guided body-centered meditation, and personal reflection.
Through Divine Touch, I embrace the scripture, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing." (John 15:5). I humbly try to be a bearer of Jesus' healing touch and an open and effective channel for the Holy Spirit to flow directly through my hands and into your body where it is most needed.
I uniquely integrate my training as a body-centered counselor in each session. I gently invite you to deepen the relationship with your body, receive God's warm, loving energy into your body, and surrender to God through your body. As your nervous system calms through this beautiful practice your body is more receptive to the healing power of the Holy Spirit. Based on your needs and preferences, I intuitively offer a variety of opportunities to reflect upon and explore your feelings experienced during Divine Touch, such as verbal sharing, journaling, art expression, or expressive movement. Reflecting on your experience is essential to this transformational practice as you integrate new awareness about yourself and your Divine union with God into your heart, mind, and body.
Although I approach this work from a Christ-centered lens, clients of ALL faith backgrounds are welcome to my table.
Come Holy Spirit. God of healing, love, and light, send forth your Spirit upon us. Let Your warm, loving energy flow through us so that we may be healed, restored, and in turn, be a blessing to others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
